This oil painting was commissioned as a special 40th birthday surprise gift by the family of a Morris Minor owner and enthusiast.

I was provided with various photographs of the car and after consultation chose one which would result in the best composition. A simple country lane backdrop was added to complete the painting.

Enthusiasts know their cars well and it is important to get the detail correct.
